The Co2 adapter allows the use of 2 x 12g CO2 capsules rather than a single 88g. There is a seal so it can be removed without losing gas. It is about the same size as a standard 88g Co2 Capsule I, 12-gram CO2 cartridges are much easier to find in retail stores than the 88-gram tanks and they also offer shooters more flexibility, especially when only wanting to take a few shots. Prevents wasting unused portions of an 88-gram cartridge.
